After the festive elections of the Obhinoy Shilpi Shongho was held on June 21, the elected members took their oaths on Monday night in a ceremony held at their office in Niketan. Chief Election Commissioner for the guild, Khairul Alam Shabuj, conducted the ceremony where Shahiduzzaman Selim and Ahsan Habib Nasim took oaths as the President and General Secretary respectively. “Now, my responsibilities have increased exponentially,” says Shahiduzzaman Selim, “I will perform my duties accordingly. Some of the stars that took oath as members of the committee are Zakia Bari Mamo, Bonna Mirza, Nadia Ahmed, Tania Ahmed, Rawnak Hasan, Munira Begum Mimi, Anisur Rahman Milon, Shamima Tusti, Shams Shumon and Pran Roy.
